Listeners in Lawrence and Beaver County, Pa., who seek a little more light from Christ in their audio programming will soon have a new choice to go to, thanks to a deal that sees Family Life acquire an FM from Lynn Deppen in a transaction brokered by Michael J. Bergner.
Class A WKPL-FM 92.1 in Ellwood City, Pa., sandwiched between Pittsburgh and Youngstown, Ohio, is being sold by Deppen-led Forever Media to FLR.
A $350,000 price has been agreed to by the parties, with Rick Snavely signing off on the transaction on behalf of the buyer.
With the pending sale, a nearly 22-year run for WKPL will be coming to a close. Today, it is Classic Hits “Pickle 92.1,” offering a wide variety of 1980s and 1990s pop hits.
