Sarasota's just-sold WSRQ/1220 and its two translators make the transition from oldies to classic hits.  You might not expect and entity named the "Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine" to be programming a music format, but LECOM runs one at its home in Erie, PA (WMCE/88.5), and it's been LMAing WSRQ and the translators.  Now comes the closing on the $520,000 sale, and the move from oldies "Hitland 106.9" to classic hits as "SRQ-FM." (That's reported by Lance Venta at Radio Insight.) The translators are at 95.9 (W240DP Venice) and 106.9 (W295BH Sarasota). The August 10 NOW Newsletter had the deal - Seller was Jim Lampi-run Florida Talk Radio and the broker was Florida based Michael Bergner.
